Competitor Takeover

Instead of asking the general question "how do I rank better", the competitor takeover asks a more specific one: for each of the keywords where a named competitor is currently outranking you, what specifically is making their page rank higher, and how do we fix that?

We start by auditing the top three to five ranking pages for each target keyword. We document their word count, structure, keyword usage, page authority, backlink profile, and content quality. This gives us a clear picture of what we are competing against and where the gaps are.

The implementation is direct. Better content where the competitor has thin content. More authority links where they have stronger backlink profiles. Better technical optimization where they have structural advantages. We prioritize targets where the gap is closeable within the campaign period.

The competitor takeover is most effective for markets where your competitors are ranking on authority and legacy rather than genuine content quality. In the German market, this is common: many established businesses rank well for branded history but have not invested in content quality. That is an exploitable gap.
